CodedWorld
Terms

Service terms.

The commercial and operational terms that apply when you use this website or engage CodedWorld.

Terms for using CodedWorld

These terms apply to this website and CodedWorld services unless a signed agreement, statement of work or order form states otherwise. By purchasing a plan or approving an engagement, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the customer and accept the applicable terms.

Proposals and scope

Website descriptions and starting prices are invitations to discuss services, not a promise that every request can be accepted at that price. Custom engineering begins only after scope, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, timing and commercial terms are confirmed in writing. Changes outside the agreed scope require approval and may affect price or delivery dates.

Care plans

Care plans cover the inclusions shown for the selected tier and are subject to reasonable scheduling, access and technical feasibility. Unused capacity does not roll over unless agreed in writing. “24/7 request intake” means a request may be submitted at any time; it does not guarantee continuous round-the-clock engineering. Response targets refer to initial acknowledgement or triage during applicable business periods, not resolution deadlines. Dedicated after-hours incident coverage, major upgrades and work beyond plan inclusions are scoped separately.

Customer responsibilities

You must provide timely, lawful and authorised access, accurate information, suitable contacts, required licences and backups. You remain responsible for business decisions, acceptance testing and approving production changes. Do not provide credentials through public forms; use the secure method agreed for the engagement.

Fees, billing and taxes

Prices shown on this website are in USD unless expressly stated otherwise. Payment timing, deposits, recurring billing and milestones are shown at checkout or in the applicable order. You authorise the selected payment provider to process approved charges. Taxes, duties and bank or conversion fees are your responsibility unless the order states they are included.

Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a recurring Care plan before its next renewal through the available account or support channel. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not reverse work already delivered, reserved capacity or charges already due. Refund requests for a payment error or undelivered service are assessed against the applicable order and work completed.

Confidentiality and intellectual property

Each party must protect non-public information received from the other and use it only for the engagement. You retain ownership of your pre-existing materials. CodedWorld retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, templates and know-how. Ownership or licence terms for engagement deliverables are defined in the applicable order and take effect after required fees are paid.

Third-party services

Software, hosting, platforms, licences and payment services supplied by third parties remain subject to their own terms, availability and security practices. CodedWorld is not responsible for third-party outages, changes or restrictions outside its reasonable control.

Security and acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or malicious material, interfere with service operation or ask CodedWorld to access systems without permission. We may suspend work or access where necessary to protect people, data or systems.

Service standard and liability

CodedWorld will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Technical outcomes depend on the condition of the systems, available evidence and third-party dependencies; no result or uninterrupted operation is guaranteed unless expressly agreed. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and CodedWorld’s aggregate liability relating to an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement during the preceding six months. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement as allowed by its order or where the other party materially breaches its obligations and does not remedy the breach within a reasonable period. Fees for completed work, committed third-party costs and approved work in progress remain payable.

Changes, conflicts and contact

The order form or signed agreement controls if it conflicts with these website terms. We may update these terms for future use of the website or future orders; existing signed engagements remain governed by their agreed version. Questions can be sent to hello@codedworld.com.
